Hope in Crisis is a humanitarian outreach department within the umbrella of WfK International, whose aim is giving of hope to those who are vulnerable in the society, more especially the orphaned children and the needy elderly people. God spoke to Mevis and Nelson, at the beginning of the ministry, to give hope to the children and elderly people who find themselves caught up in the web of c risis, because of either the death of their parents and loved ones due to an epidemic or extreme poverty. We have resolved to break the circle of poverty within the orphaned children, through rehabilitation, mentoring, and providing up to secondary education and above for suitable future professions. Hope in crisis outreach also feeds the elderly and the street children and families with foodstuffs and hot meals each month.
